We can change the upcp from the release version to the stable version by changing the option in following file, the release provides you the new cPanel version but its under the testing mode therefore its always better to use the stable version for the cPanel because testing version having lots of bug and can cause the major problem therefore always use stable version, if your server is shared server or hosting bulk domains.
