Command to check Linux Server Hostname part2

In the HOSTNAME PART1 we have checked the hostname for plain server but now a days many peoples are using the cPanel control therefore refer the following command to check the hostname on cPanel control panel.

1st) The following command is specially used for the cPanel servers its shows all the basic configuration set on the server like shared ip address,hostname,servers default nameserver, contact E-mail address.

2nd) The fourth command is script which actually provide the server hostname as well as ip address for the hostname which is correct, if the hostname ip A record is set incorrectly, it will provide you the correct ip address which you mus set for your hostname, for more details about hostname A record read LINUX ARTICLE

Hostname incorrect A record

In above result the hostname “server.linux.com” is resolving to incorrect ip address “67.215.65.132” and correct ip address is “192.168.0.1” therefore login in the WHM and add the correct A record for the server to resolve the issue else you will receive an E-mail with the above result every day.
